2006 Pan American Championships Conclude


Alejandr Ramirez, Board 1 for the UTD-A team






It was a smashing success for the University of Texas-Dallas (UTD) as the UTD-A and UTD-B teams captured the top two spots in the 2006 Pan American Intercollegiate Championship, with the University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC) close behind in third place. A total of 24 collegiate teams competed.

In the scholastic section, A. Balasubramanian took first place with a 5.5/6 score, followed by Raja Panjwani (5.0/6) and Edward Lu (4.5/6). There were 20 participants in the scholastic section.
